The Finest Ladakh Pashmina

Traditionally spun and hand-woven pure Pashmina-Cashmere, passionately crafted by artisans from the Kashmir valley - the Birthplace of the pashmina. Beautiful heritage pieces to hand down through generations. Hand-dyed, hand-embroidered and printed.

THE CONFLICT
'Berlin wall of the east' caught between two besotted regional nuclear superpowers, prepared to kill and die over this 'paradise on earth'. The world's longest running conflict zone is frozen in time since 1947. Kashmir is witness to and victim of Indo-Pakistan wars, unabated militarized violence and terrorism since many decades.
THE CRAFT

Traditional heritage craft from the valley that dates back centuries. Pure Ladakh Pashmina sourced ethically directly from herdsmen, hand-woven by craftsmen from the Kashmir valley - the Birthplace of the pashmina.

From combing the mountain goats under-belly to spinning and dyeing the precious yarns for the most skilled and passionate weavers and embroiderers, the world's finest pashmina heritage pieces are made to hand down through generations. Hand-dyed, hand-embroidered and printed to become your most loved fashion accessory.

THE IMPACT

We started the project in 2013 with just 4 artisan families and now support over 17 families. We are proud to have set up an apprenticeship program to encourage women embroiderers and to support dissidents to return to civilian life with their skills and craft
