Stacked Seed Pearl Threader Earrings · Silver

Seed pearls are the smallest pearls of all, once strung on horsehair by the hundred for Georgian and Victorian jewellery. The pearl is a creamy white with a soft lustre, cooler beside silver. Here five seed pearls sit stacked one above the next at the end of a fine chain that threads through the ear, a narrow line of white against the skin.

Reach for it when you want a line rather than a drop. The pearls hang straight below the lobe and the chain sets its own length. Simple, vertical, light.

• Straight line of pearls below the lobe
• Almost weightless, easy to forget
• Threads through, nothing to fasten

Handcrafted by master silversmiths in Protsaah's own workshop in Jaipur, where every maker is paid 30 to 40% above the local market rate.

A white pearl works on every skin tone, eye colour and hair colour, because it adds light rather than colour, and the metal around it sets the temperature. It is the piece to reach for when the outfit already has its colour.

If you want colour, the same design comes in every coloured stone in the collection. Not sure? Write to us at hello@protsaah.com and Salonie will recommend your stone personally.
