Labradorite Bead Huggie Hoop Earrings · Gold

Labradorite takes its name from Labrador, where Moravian missionaries recorded it in 1770. It reads grey-blue, with a teal and bronze flash that moves with the angle. Here a smooth labradorite bead hangs on a jump ring from a slim gold huggie that clicks shut, so the hoop hugs the lobe and the bead swings below.

Reach for it when you want a hoop that stays put. The huggie clicks shut and hugs the lobe, and below it the flash comes and goes as it moves. Grey-blue under a hoop that clicks shut.

• Blue flash that switches on as it moves
• Hugs the lobe, bead swings below
• Click clasp, shuts with one press

Handcrafted by master silversmiths in Protsaah's own workshop in Jaipur, where every maker is paid 30 to 40% above the local market rate.

Labradorite is a neutral stone, so it sits well on most skin tones and picks up hazel, grey and green eyes, where the blue flash reads as an echo of the iris. Dark brown and cool brunette hair frame the grey base best.

For warm tones that want more colour, rose quartz in the same bead huggie gives a softer, pinker register. Not sure? Write to us at hello@protsaah.com and Salonie will recommend your stone personally.
