Labradorite takes its name from Labrador, where Moravian missionaries recorded it in 1770. It reads grey-blue, with a teal and bronze flash that moves with the angle. Here a run of small faceted labradorite stones, each in its own gold collet, follows the curve of an open hoop on a push-back post, colour all the way round.

Reach for it when you want colour that follows the curve of the ear. Small stones run the length of the hoop, and from any angle the flash comes and goes as it moves. Grey-blue all the way round.

Handcrafted by master silversmiths in Protsaah's own workshop in Jaipur, where every maker is paid 30 to 40% above the local market rate.

Labradorite is a neutral stone, so it sits well on most skin tones and picks up hazel, grey and green eyes, where the blue flash reads as an echo of the iris. Dark brown and cool brunette hair frame the grey base best.
