Labradorite Long Teardrop Drop Earrings · Gold

Labradorite takes its name from Labrador, where Moravian missionaries recorded it in 1770. It reads grey-blue, with a teal and bronze flash that moves with the angle. Here a labradorite pear briolette, faceted all round, hangs from a wire-wrapped cap at the tip of a long open gold arc hook, and turns as you move.

Reach for it when you want a drop that changes as you walk. The briolette turns on the hook, and every turn switches the flash on and off, grey then blue. Grey, then blue, in motion.

Handcrafted by master silversmiths in Protsaah's own workshop in Jaipur, where every maker is paid 30 to 40% above the local market rate.

Labradorite is a neutral stone, so it sits well on most skin tones and picks up hazel, grey and green eyes, where the blue flash reads as an echo of the iris. Dark brown and cool brunette hair frame the grey base best.
