Baroque Pearl Drop Statement Earrings · Silver

Keshi pearls grow without a nucleus, so they are nacre the whole way through, a by-product of cultivation nobody can plan. The pearl is a creamy white with a soft lustre, cooler beside silver. Here a large keshi pearl hangs free inside an asymmetric open frame that runs to a point below it, so the pearl turns within the metal outline.

Reach for it when the earrings are the event. The frame is open, so the size costs nothing in weight, and the pearl moves inside it. Big, light, unmissable.

• Pearl that swings inside an open frame
• Frame and pearl read as one sculpture
• French hook, tapered to sit easily

Handcrafted by master silversmiths in Protsaah's own workshop in Jaipur, where every maker is paid 30 to 40% above the local market rate.

A white pearl works on every skin tone, eye colour and hair colour, because it adds light rather than colour, and the metal around it sets the temperature. It is the piece to reach for when the outfit already has its colour.

If you want colour, the same design comes in every coloured stone in the collection. Not sure? Write to us at hello@protsaah.com and Salonie will recommend your stone personally.
