Green Onyx Faceted Teardrop Drop Earrings · Gold

Onyx takes its name from the Greek word for fingernail, and Roman carvers cut it for cameos because it holds a crisp edge. Green onyx is bottle green, deep at the edges with a lighter heart. Here a faceted green onyx teardrop sits in a slim gold bezel and hangs from a plain wire hook, so it swings as you move without a sound.

Reach for it when your black and navy need a colour that holds its own. Face on it is a bottle green drop in a gold rim, and each swing runs light across the facets. Bottle green, on the move.

• Bottle green that stands up to black
• Tailored enough for work, colour enough for after
• Plain wire hook, swings without a sound

Handcrafted by master silversmiths in Protsaah's own workshop in Jaipur, where every maker is paid 30 to 40% above the local market rate.

Green onyx is a deep, cool green that suits cool or neutral skin and picks up green, hazel and grey eyes, where it deepens the colour rather than matching it. Dark brown and cool brunette hair give it the contrast it needs.

For warm or olive tones, carnelian or citrine in the same teardrop drop earring sits closer to the skin. Not sure? Write to us at hello@protsaah.com and Salonie will recommend your stone personally.
