Pink Chalcedony Teardrop Pendant Necklace · Silver

Pink chalcedony takes its blush from traces of manganese, the rarest colour in the chalcedony family. It is a pale blush pink, translucent and milky, and silver keeps it cool. Here a faceted pink chalcedony teardrop hangs in a slim silver bezel from a chain fine enough to disappear, with three fixed rings at the clasp for three lengths.

Reach for it when you want one stone at the collarbone and nothing else. The chain vanishes, the teardrop reads alone, and the blush reads quiet rather than sweet. Pale pink at the collarbone, worn every day.

• Pale blush pink that never reads sweet
• Fine chain, one stone, nothing else
• Three rings, three lengths, on in one go

Handcrafted by master silversmiths in Protsaah's own workshop in Jaipur, where every maker is paid 30 to 40% above the local market rate.

Pink chalcedony is a cool, pale pink that sits best on cool or fair skin and picks up blue, grey and green eyes, where it reads as a soft warmth beside them. Blonde, ash brown and silver hair keep it crisp.

For warm or olive tones, carnelian or citrine in the same teardrop pendant brings the warmth the blush lacks. Not sure? Write to us at hello@protsaah.com and Salonie will recommend your stone personally.
