Rainbow Moonstone Faceted Teardrop Drop Earrings · Gold

Moonstone was worn in Rome as a stone believed to hold moonlight. Rainbow moonstone is milky white with a blue and violet sheen that shifts with the angle, translucent. Here a faceted rainbow moonstone teardrop sits in a slim gold bezel and hangs from a plain wire hook, so it swings as you move without a sound.

Reach for it when you want light without colour. The sheen moves with every swing, blue one moment and pale the next, and the gold rim gives it an edge. Pale, until it moves.

• Blue glow that moves with every step
• Goes with every colour and both metals
• Plain wire hook, swings without a sound

Handcrafted by master silversmiths in Protsaah's own workshop in Jaipur, where every maker is paid 30 to 40% above the local market rate.

Rainbow moonstone is a cool, pale stone that sits best on cool or fair skin and picks up blue, grey and green eyes, where the flash reads as a lighter note of the iris. Blonde, silver and ash brown hair keep the pairing soft.

For warm or olive tones, peach moonstone or rose quartz in the same teardrop drop earring carries the same glow in a warmer key. Not sure? Write to us at hello@protsaah.com and Salonie will recommend your stone personally.
