Chalcedony takes its name from Chalcedon, the ancient port facing Byzantium, prized by Roman carvers for cameos. Aqua chalcedony is a milky aqua blue, translucent, and in silver it runs cooler and slightly greyer. Here a kite-cut aqua chalcedony, an elongated four-sided stone, hangs from a fine silver chain that threads through the ear, wire-wrapped at the drill hole.
Reach for it when you want length without weight. Pull the chain through to set the drop where you want it, high behind or low in front. Threads through, sits where you leave it.
- Milky aqua blue that softens a sharp outfit
- Long line with almost nothing on the lobe
- Threader chain, no clasp to close

Styled for You
Aqua chalcedony is a cool stone and sits closest to cool or neutral skin, where its blue picks up blue, grey and green eyes without competing with them. Blonde and light brown hair keep the pairing light.
For warm or olive tones, carnelian or citrine in the same kite drop threader brings the warmth the aqua lacks. Not sure? Write to us at hello@protsaah.com and Salonie will recommend your stone personally.
