Nephrite Jade
- Real gemstones — never glass
- Real 22k gold plating on recycled 925 silver
- Tarnish-resistant & hypoallergenic
Jade has been carved in China for five thousand years, and nephrite was the stone of the imperial workshops. It is a pale apple green, mottled with lighter cloudy patches, with a waxy lustre. Here a kite-cut nephrite jade, an elongated four-sided stone, hangs from a fine gold chain that threads through the ear, wire-wrapped at the drill hole.
Reach for it when you want length without weight. Pull the chain through to set the drop where you want it, high behind or low in front. Threads through, sits where you leave it.
- Calm apple green that flatters warm and neutral skin
- Slide the chain to set your own length
- Threader chain, no clasp to close
Handcrafted by master silversmiths in Protsaah's own workshop in Jaipur, where every maker is paid 30 to 40% above the local market rate.

Styled for You
Nephrite jade is a warm, soft green that sits closest to warm or neutral skin and picks up brown, hazel and green eyes, where it reads as a quieter note of the iris. Dark brown, auburn and black hair give it contrast.
For cool or fair tones, amazonite or blue topaz in the same kite drop threader carries the same calm in a cooler key. Not sure? Write to us at hello@protsaah.com and Salonie will recommend your stone personally.
