Fine jewellery is a lifestyle investment, and like any investment, it deserves upkeep. Our certified goldsmiths restore worn or faded pieces to their original finish using sterling silver, 22ct yellow gold, or rose gold plating; the same finishes your piece was born with.
Whether your gold has worn through at the edges or you're ready for a fresh look, replating brings your piece back to day one. Pieces go to our master workshop and are returned looking exactly as they should.

At PROTSAAH, we're committed to fostering a more sustainable industry. If you have a piece sitting unused, breathe new life into it by recycling with us and receive Silver Credit in return.
The precious metal we reclaim is repurposed to craft new jewellery, advancing us closer to a truly circular jewellery economy. As Europe's first circular jewellery label, this isn't a programme, it's who we are. We accept all sterling silver PROTSAAH pieces for recycling.
How it works
Fill in the form and upload clear photos of the damage from all angles. Submissions without images cannot be processed.
Send via a tracked service at your own cost. Shipping address is confirmed by email after your request is reviewed.
Our team inspects your piece within 5–7 business days and recommends the best course of action — repair, replate, or recycle.
You receive an assessment and, where applicable, an offer. Nothing proceeds without your approval.
Repairs and replating are carried out at our workshop in India and take 4–8 months. For recycling, Silver Credit is issued on receipt.
Earrings: Always ship both earrings, even if only one of them is damaged. We can only process renew or repair requests for a pair of earrings.
Necklaces: Whether a broken necklace can be repaired depends on where and how it broke. We will assess and advise, and recycling for Silver Credit is often the best route.
Turnaround: Repairs and replating are sent to our workshop in India. Please allow 4–8 months for completion and return shipping.
Shipping to us: At your cost via a tracked service. PROTSAAH is not responsible for items lost in transit.
Eligibility: These services are for PROTSAAH pieces purchased more than 30 days ago. There is no upper time limit, pieces from any year are welcome.

Is there a cost for repairs or replating?
Yes, repair and replating services are chargeable.
Replating costs approximately 30% of the current retail price of your piece. If your piece requires soldering, replating is also required and the same rate applies. Other repair costs depend on the work required and are confirmed in your assessment email.
Shipping to our workshop in India and return delivery to your address are charged separately. Return shipping is billed at our standard rates, the same as any normal order.
All costs are itemised and sent to you for approval before any work begins. Nothing is charged without your say-so.
What is Silver Credit and how do I use it?
Silver Credit is store credit issued to your PROTSAAH account and can be used towards any future purchase on protsaah.com. If you don't have an account, you can create one using the email address from your original order.
Please note that Silver Credit must be used within two years of the date it is issued to your account.
I've lost one of my earrings. Can I order just one?
We're unable to supply individual earrings. Polish and finish develop differently over time, so a new single earring would look visually different to your existing one. And if your piece has gemstones, matching the colour of stones bought at two different points in time isn't something we can guarantee.
What we can do instead: recycle your remaining single earring with us and receive Silver Credit for it. Thereafter, place a fresh order for a new pair where the finish and any gemstones will be perfectly matched from the start.
My necklace is broken. Can it be repaired?
It depends on where and how the break occurred. If the chain has broken at a soldering point, such as the lock or the necklace extension, repair may be possible. Submit a request and our team will assess and advise.
In most cases, a broken necklace is best handled through our recycling programme, as repair is generally not feasible. In this instance, you receive Silver Credit based on the value of your piece at the time of purchase.
Please send us the complete necklace, including any pendants or broken pieces when submitting a repair, replate or recycling request.
Can I recycle a piece I didn't buy from PROTSAAH?
Our repair and recycling service is available exclusively for PROTSAAH pieces. There is no time limit on when you can bring a piece in; whether you bought it recently or years ago, you are welcome to submit a request.
What if my piece can't be repaired?
If your piece cannot be repaired, we will recommend recycling it for Silver Credit. You will always be informed and given the choice before anything is finalised.
