Labradorite takes its name from Labrador, where Moravian missionaries recorded it in 1770. In silver it reads closer to slate, the blue flash sitting deep inside. Labradorite is a neutral stone, so it sits well on most skin tones and picks up hazel, grey and green eyes, where the blue flash reads as an echo of the iris. Dark brown and cool brunette hair frame the grey base best.
