Moonstone was worn in Rome as a stone believed to hold moonlight, and onyx takes its name from the Greek word for fingernail, prized by Roman carvers for cameos. Here a faceted rainbow moonstone oval sits prong-set near the lobe, and a faceted green onyx round hangs bezel-set below it on a plain wire hook, two colours moving as one.
