Pearl Hammered Disc Drop Earrings · Gold

Pearls were the first gems ever worn, needing no cutting, and Roman law once reserved them for the ruling class. The pearl is a creamy white with a soft lustre. Here a round pearl hangs below a hand-hammered disc, capped at the crown and drilled through, so it swings as you move without a sound.

Reach for it when you want a pearl that is not a stud. The hammered disc keeps it modern and the drop is short enough for every day. Pearl, with texture above it.

• Round pearl that swings without a sound
• Hammered disc gives a classic pearl an edge
• Smooth push-back post, nothing to snag

Handcrafted by master silversmiths in Protsaah's own workshop in Jaipur, where every maker is paid 30 to 40% above the local market rate.

A white pearl works on every skin tone, eye colour and hair colour, because it adds light rather than colour, and the metal around it sets the temperature. It is the piece to reach for when the outfit already has its colour.

If you want colour, the same design comes in every coloured stone in the collection. Not sure? Write to us at hello@protsaah.com and Salonie will recommend your stone personally.
