Baroque Pearl Huggie Hoop Earrings · Gold

Baroque takes its name from barroco, the Portuguese word for an irregular pearl, long before it named an era in art. The pearl is a creamy white with a soft lustre. Here an oval baroque pearl hangs from a narrow polished huggie with a squared profile, finished with a small ball tip below the pearl.

Reach for it when you want a pearl close to the ear rather than swinging below it. The huggie hugs the lobe and the pearl does the rest. Neat, close, everyday.

• Pearl that sits close, not swinging
• Squared huggie reads sharper than a round one
• Click clasp closes flush behind the ear

Handcrafted by master silversmiths in Protsaah's own workshop in Jaipur, where every maker is paid 30 to 40% above the local market rate.

A white pearl works on every skin tone, eye colour and hair colour, because it adds light rather than colour, and the metal around it sets the temperature. It is the piece to reach for when the outfit already has its colour.

If you want colour, the same design comes in every coloured stone in the collection. Not sure? Write to us at hello@protsaah.com and Salonie will recommend your stone personally.
