Chalcedony takes its name from Chalcedon, the ancient port facing Byzantium, prized by Roman carvers for cameos. Aqua chalcedony is a milky aqua blue, translucent, and in silver it runs cooler and slightly greyer. Here thirteen faceted aqua chalcedony rounds sit in silver bezels spaced along two fine chains that run side by side, closed with a spring ring clasp and extender chain.

Aqua chalcedony is a cool stone and sits closest to cool or neutral skin, where its blue picks up blue, grey and green eyes without competing with them. Blonde and light brown hair keep the pairing light.
