Onyx takes its name from the Greek word for fingernail, and Roman carvers cut it for cameos. Green onyx is bottle green with a lighter heart. Here thirteen faceted green onyx rounds sit in gold bezels spaced along two fine chains that run side by side, closed with a spring ring clasp and extender chain.

Green onyx is a deep, cool green that suits cool or neutral skin and picks up green, hazel and grey eyes, where it deepens the colour rather than matching it. Dark brown and cool brunette hair give it the contrast it needs.
