Garnet takes its name from the Latin for pomegranate seed, and it has been worn since the Bronze Age. Deep bordeaux, a wine red, and silver keeps the colour cool and clear. Here thirteen small faceted garnet rounds sit in silver bezels spaced along a fine cable chain, so the colour reads as a line of dots, no pendant.

Reach for it when you want colour without a pendant, perfect for layering under a longer chain. The dots follow the collarbone and the bordeaux settles to a dark point. Bordeaux in a line, all day.

Garnet is a warm red that sits closest to warm or olive skin and picks up brown, hazel and dark eyes, where it reads as a deeper note of the same warmth. Dark brown, auburn and black hair hold the colour best.
