Green Onyx Faceted Teardrop Drop Earrings · Silver

Onyx has been cut in India for beads and seals since antiquity, and the trade routes carried it west to Rome. Green onyx is bottle green with a lighter heart, and against silver it reads cooler. Here a faceted green onyx teardrop sits in a slim silver bezel and hangs from a plain wire hook, so it swings as you move without a sound.

Reach for it when you want a green that stays crisp. In silver the bottle green runs cool, and the facets throw sharp edges of light as the drop swings. Cool green, clean edges, moving.

• Bottle green that runs cool in silver
• Sits beside every silver piece you own
• Wire hook, nothing to snag on a collar

Handcrafted by master silversmiths in Protsaah's own workshop in Jaipur, where every maker is paid 30 to 40% above the local market rate.

Green onyx is a deep, cool green that suits cool or neutral skin and picks up green, hazel and grey eyes, where it deepens the colour rather than matching it. In silver the pairing runs cool, which suits ash blonde, silver and cool brunette hair.

For warm or olive tones, carnelian or citrine in the same teardrop drop earring sits closer to the skin. Not sure? Write to us at hello@protsaah.com and Salonie will recommend your stone personally.
