Labradorite Bead Hammered Disc Dangle Earrings · Silver

Labradorite takes its name from Labrador, where Moravian missionaries recorded it in 1770. In silver it reads closer to slate, the blue flash sitting deep inside. Here a smooth round labradorite bead hangs from a hand-hammered silver disc on a push-back post, so the disc catches the light while the bead swings below it.

Reach for it when you want a stud with a little more going on. The disc glints above, and the slate bead below flashes blue as it moves. Beaten silver, then a blue flash.

Handcrafted by master silversmiths in Protsaah's own workshop in Jaipur, where every maker is paid 30 to 40% above the local market rate.

Labradorite is a neutral stone, so it sits well on most skin tones and picks up hazel, grey and green eyes, where the blue flash reads as an echo of the iris. Dark brown and cool brunette hair frame the grey base best.
