Seed Pearl Circle Threader Earrings · Silver

Seed pearls are the smallest pearls of all, once strung on horsehair by the hundred for Georgian and Victorian jewellery. The pearl is a creamy white with a soft lustre, cooler beside silver. Here a ring of seed pearls circles below the lobe on a fine chain that threads through the ear, with a small bar at the other end to hold the length.

Reach for it when you want to set the length yourself. Pull the chain through until the circle sits where you want it. One earring, many lengths.

• Halo of seed pearls below the lobe
• Fine chain that disappears against the skin
• Threads through, nothing to fasten

Handcrafted by master silversmiths in Protsaah's own workshop in Jaipur, where every maker is paid 30 to 40% above the local market rate.

A white pearl works on every skin tone, eye colour and hair colour, because it adds light rather than colour, and the metal around it sets the temperature. It is the piece to reach for when the outfit already has its colour.

If you want colour, the same design comes in every coloured stone in the collection. Not sure? Write to us at hello@protsaah.com and Salonie will recommend your stone personally.
