Prehnite Crown Stud Earrings · Gold

Prehnite was the first mineral named after a person, Colonel Hendrik von Prehn, who brought it back from the Cape of Good Hope in the 1780s. Pale green and translucent, a light pistachio, it glows rather than sparkles. Here the round faceted prehnite sits in a multi-prong gold crown, pierced into small arches under a beaded rim, and the gold warms it toward yellow-green.

Reach for it on days when you want colour without contrast. It is the palest stone in the family, a light pistachio that warms toward yellow-green in gold, calm next to brighter greens. Green, but gently.

Handcrafted by master silversmiths in Protsaah's own workshop in Jaipur, where every maker is paid 30 to 40% above the local market rate.

Prehnite is a cool, pale green that sits best on cool or neutral skin and picks up green, grey and hazel eyes, where it reads as a lighter version of the iris. Blonde and ash brown hair keep the effect soft.
