Pink chalcedony takes its blush from traces of manganese, the rarest colour in the chalcedony family. It is a pale blush pink, translucent and milky, and silver keeps it cool. Here a brushed silver triangle holds the lobe and a round cushion-cut pink chalcedony hangs beneath on a jump ring, faceted front and back.
Reach for it when you want the softness of a round stone against a sharp stud. The triangle keeps it from reading sweet, and the blush reads quiet rather than sweet. Pale pink, round below, angles above.
