Labradorite Triangle Stud Drop Earrings · Gold

Labradorite takes its name from Labrador, where Moravian missionaries recorded it in 1770. It reads grey-blue, with a teal and bronze flash that moves with the angle. Here a brushed gold triangle holds the lobe and a round cushion-cut labradorite hangs beneath on a jump ring, faceted front and back.

Reach for it when you want the softness of a round stone against a sharp stud. The triangle keeps it from reading sweet, and the flash comes and goes as it moves. Grey-blue, round below, angles above.

• Blue flash that switches on as it moves
• Round stone softened by a sharp stud
• Smooth push-back post, secure through the day

Handcrafted by master silversmiths in Protsaah's own workshop in Jaipur, where every maker is paid 30 to 40% above the local market rate.

Labradorite is a neutral stone, so it sits well on most skin tones and picks up hazel, grey and green eyes, where the blue flash reads as an echo of the iris. Dark brown and cool brunette hair frame the grey base best.

For warm tones that want more colour, rose quartz in the same triangle stud drop gives a softer, pinker register. Not sure? Write to us at hello@protsaah.com and Salonie will recommend your stone personally.
