Chalcedony takes its name from Chalcedon, the ancient port facing Byzantium, prized by Roman carvers for cameos. Aqua chalcedony is a milky aqua blue, translucent, and in silver it runs cooler and slightly greyer. Here a faceted aqua chalcedony teardrop hangs in a slim silver bezel from a chain fine enough to disappear, with three fixed rings at the clasp for three lengths.
Reach for it when you want one stone at the collarbone and nothing else. The chain vanishes, the teardrop reads alone, and the milky blue glows rather than sparkles. Milky aqua at the collarbone, worn every day.
